Hello guys,
I drive a Lag Coupe GT 180hp and I get around 9l/100km average. If I drive 150 170 km/h I get over 8.5l on the motorway. If I drive 110km/h and below, I only managed to get 6l/100km on the computer. It was only a tryout, since I believe it is meaningless to have 180hp and drive 90 - 110 km/h
In the city, short runs, cold start then 5km one way to work and in 9 hours back home, I get really high consumption. I see 20l/100km. There are a lot of traffic lights on the road to my workplace. Average in town is around 12,5l/100km - I drove 100km city only.
I did ECU diagnostics twice by my local Renault representative - nothing, not a single error code. I am starting to get really nervous about this problem, because I am not sure what is happening, I also see black soot on the exhaust pipes, which as you might know is something that no DPF car should have. I read a lot about it and came to the conclusion, that there is a list of at least 10 culprits - going through Turbo issues or fuel mixture not balanced and so on.
The car has now 140k km on the clock and I think that the DPF might have to be replaced. Can somebody owning a 2.0dci FAP advise me how could be such consumption issue resolved and also let me know, what could cost a DPF filter replacement?
